Various sensors are available for detecting products ready for marking. In addition to a 'direct reflection' photocell included in the printing kit, Zanasi Fratelli supplies on request, photocells with reflectors, photocells for metal surfaces, fiber optic photocells and centering mark readers.

For printing on products moving at variable speeds, the Company supplies on request, production line speed-detecting sensors (encoder) that may travel at 500, 2500 and 5000 PPM.

To ensure correct installation, the Company has designed various support brackets and carriages to hold the printer upright.

Sirens or warning lights can be fitted to the printer to activate any alarm in an emergency.

In especially damp or dusty environments, the printing head can be pressurized with compressed air (filtered) to prevent any seepage by contaminating elements from the ink.

Zanasi Fratelli also supplies bar code readers (laser scanners) for installing on the production line in order to check that the bar codes just printed are legible.
